Hello friends ,

I fail far with 73 . I gave my exam 2 weeks back.

I thought I would pass the exam because Mcq were better for me . So 9 days back , I started with Regulation mcq and few simulation .

Now I am heartbroken that I missed far by just 2marks .

Pls advice .

1) should I continue with regulation mcq for exam in july . then retake far exam

or

2) Retake with Far in july and then move to Reg

Stick with FAR and get it done. You will forget majority of the stuff and will have to suffer through relearning it. I took FAR and got a seventy F*&$%ING four. (Still get super mad about it from time to time LOL!) My first tax season was coming up right after so i focused on that and put studying on the back-burner. Now i am studying again for FAR on July 2nd and have to relearn a LOT of stuff because i forgot so much of the minor details that make a huge difference on the exam. So my 2 cents is the stick with FAR and just finish it off before moving on.

I'm sorry to hear that @bin. You're so close to passing the section, so i think you should go with FAR since the material is fresh in your head then move on to REG. Just my opinion.

I am also retaking FAR July 2nd. This depends entirely on you. Studying the same part back to back burns me out. Id rather forget it and then relearn it. If it doesnt burn you out then go back to back (which is the most common advice)

I always thought it was best to stick with the section till you passed. Just think about how much new material you crammed then having to relearn all that cause you started learning something new is going to make you forget what you learned earlier… You can only remember so much things take it Section by Section.
