I am studying right now so my brain is probably dead but I saw that the doomsday clock say 1am EST. It also has roughly 3 hours left on it and it is approximately 10pm CST. Wouldn’t 3 hours from now be 1am CST and 2am EST? Just thought I would ask b/c I will be up studying anyway. I don’t really care but it helps keep my mind off the intense studying (9 hours already today).

Sorry about making it sound like one of those SAT questions like, “one train leaves NYC at 1am EST and arrives in Chicago at 2am CST going 75 mph, etc., etc.

I understand that 1am EST would be 12am CST but the clock says three hours left. Wouldn't that be 2am EST and 1am CST?

Yeah, I just learned from a veteran that the clock is off and it was like this before as well last time too but they received it at 1 am EST, so 1 hour 47 mins from now.
