    Hello Everyone,

I just took the AUD exam for the fourth time, and up until the time I submitted the exam, I thought I had passed. I had an easy testlet, then difficult, and then difficult. I also thought I did very well on the simulations.

The only problem is, my test froze twice during the exam, and then when I submitted it, it had an error message saying to contact the system administrator and that the test would need to shut down. I was never able to get a confirmation letter from the testing center saying it was submitted, but they called the helpdesk and said that everything should be okay but that I would need to call the helpdesk back in 24 hours.

Has anyone else ever had this happen to them before? If so, what was the result. If not, does anyone know who I should contact about this issue? I would appreciate any help…..pretty down right now…

I think you will be fine, I have heard that the test automatically saves. I hope some others can help make you feel better about this … that is a scary feeling.

Almost always from my phone... please excuse my typos!

Yea I heard it saves too if it freezes up or whatever, but they couldn't even give me documentation that it was submitted. Just told me to call the help desk tomorrow morning…

As NASBA says below, I think you should report the issue on your own behalf, especially since you were not provided an attendance confirmation:

Report ing Problems with the Examination
DURING YOUR EXAMINATION SESSION Report equipment/functionality issues to test center staff
    without delay.
    AFTER COMPLETING YOUR EXAMINATION
If you feel that the circumstances surrounding your test administration prevented you from performing at a level
consistent with your knowledge and skills; or, if you have a question or concern about the test, you must notify NASBA no
later than 5 business days from the date of your examination to document your concern.
You may notify NASBA using any one of the methods below.
    • By E-mail: candidatecare@nasba.org
    • By Telephone: 866-MY-NASBA (866-696-2722)
    • By Fax: 615-880-4225

I contacted NASBA and the lady from Customer Care said that sometimes it can take up to 4 days for the exam to be received by the AICPA. She says it will probably be processed with no issues and that she will let me know when and if it is received. If not received, they will pay for me to take it again…..

They sure can pay me back the 2 months I just spent restudying for an exam that I missed by 2 pts last time and I'm pretty sure I passed this time.

The prometric testing helpdesk said that their global help desk shows I completed my test, but that it was “terminated”. That doesn't sound very promising to me. Also, the fact that an attendance letter was not generated is not a good sign I would think…….can't believe this is happening….worst nightmare…
