Sorry everyone, I have asked so many questions lately, I got an in-person interview from a 5000+ employees company, but the HR told me , this is a junior level position, the person must be willing to do anything and everything like( filing, scanning, uploading journal entries) . I have about 2 years staff accountant experience in a 100 employees size company. The pay will be around the same or little higher than the one I have right now. Should I give it a try or it is not worthy? I am not young, 28 already. I do not want to do filing and scanning forever, I never work in a large company before, I need your professional opinions, is it easy to change job duties inside a large company (around 1 year)?

Is this an accounting or an admin position? If it is admin I say pass because it is not going to help you transition to accounting later. Do you have more details on the position?

@MaLoTu The title is junior accountant. The job description is uploading journal entries, data entry, cash clearing, pre-paid, help in month-end reconciliation and support team with audit request.

If you feel that there is upward growth opportunity then I would not get hung up on the technical job title. It may be worth your while since it is a large company, but like I said, I would weigh your growth potential at your current employer vs the prospective growth in the larger company. Do you currently have more responsibility than what the jr level job states? Is it a well-known company?

@MaLoTu Haha, I need to google the company before I know its products, I currently need to do AR, AP, reconciliation, prepare FR. (basically all the accounting daily activities since my current company is kind of small) . It is much better to have someone to discuss with me. I know what to do now, I don't see much growth potential in my current company. Thanks.
