Per the NASBA site we should receive by 4.15.17, just curious if anyone has received theirs yet? NJ specifically, thanks!

Not yet. Got my score notification later than usual too.

Do we not need the Congratulatory letter to apply for our license? I still have one more ethics exam to take but I am so ready to turn everything in, and really don't want to wait until the 15th! Washington State checking in, who are you people that don't need to take multiple ethics exams?!

I sent in my application for licensing on 3/21. I called my state board yesterday and asked when I could expect to receive the license and they said they are just waiting on NASBA at this point, every other part of my application has been approved.

Finally got my letter today, hopefully NASBA sends my application to the CO board before their next meeting in early May. The wait has tempered just about all enthusiasm I had when I found out I passed FAR…it's totally anticlimactic.

In CO and just got my letter today so I finally took the Ethics exam tonight and will submit my licensing application.

Question for those who already applied. I started an electronic application on NASBA but I am confused about the educational credits evaluation. I have a total of over 160. How do they get evaluated? Do I need to request official transcripts again and have them sent to the evaluation services or do I upload copies of transcripts with my application and that's when they get evaluated?

When the going gets tough, the tough get going.

The CO process is a bit confusing. The NASBA site stated that transcripts would be held for a year after I applied to sit for the exam, but I had to resubmit mine anyway for the licensure application. Don't upload copies – you will need to have another official set to COlicensing@nasba.org to avoid delay.

I took my final section on March 10th and received score March 21st. I just received my congratulatory letter yesterday. Now time to take the ethics exam and ethics class. Somehow I survived the CPA exams but I think the ethics class will bore me to death.

@mecrushya this sucks! The university where I obtained about 30 credits from when I started my bachelors program does not exist anymore and it takes forever to get the transcript through the Board of Education (NY State). It took over a month for them to finally send the transcript to NASBA when I applied to sit for the exams.
Even though those credits got transferred and are reflected on the transcript of another university NASBA requires the original transcript from the original school. This is the longest and the most frustrating process! I feel like it's easier to adopt a child than get your paperwork in order to get a CPA license. Ugh…
