I guess the saying is true: If you walk out feeling okay about the exam, YOU FAILED!! I took FAR last week and received my score last night..72. I really thought I did good, great even. I did all my sims and knew 5/7 and was able to enter in EDUCATED guesses on the others.. So sad.

I told myself yesterday that I’m quitting, this is too much for me.. but this morning I woke up and said “Screw that, I’m going to pass it” Soooo I’m going to pass it…

This was my first attempt at FAR and I got a 72, not bad I guess. I am retaking it in the beginning of January, while it is still fresh in my mind. Can anyone give me advice on where/how to start? I can’t start from the beginning because I’m taking it in about 20 days. Should I go over weak areas and do MCQ, should I watch important lectures and read? Should I just review for the next 20 days.. lost.

Thank you @docholliday, that makes me feel good about my upcoming exam..

I went over everything except NFP and governmental, which is what tomorrow all day is for. Then I have until the 12th to review and hammer out mcq. I wanna do 250 every day for the 8 days of review (50 at 7am, 50 at 10am, 50 at 1pm, 100 at 4pm) along with re writing my notes in between mcq for the 8 days. I know 90% of the book, and the other parts I need to go over with mcq cause some of the concepts haven't stuck with me, but the good news is the 90% that I know are the heavily tested topics and I have those nailed. The 10% is things like interim financial statements and inventory errors which confuses the hell out of me.. but I'll have it knocked out by the time it's test day. I haven't slacked off for a day… Christmas day studied for 4 hours, new years eve studied for 7 hours… If I don't pass this time, I'll be incredibly shocked.. The last time I studied this hard I got an 84 in Audit, but I don't even think I studied as much that time like i did for this. OKAY TMI.. sorry..
