Hi everyone. Been snooping around the forum for a few months now, but first time posting here. I received my score this morning for my 2nd CPA exam attempt (AUD) and was hoping for a successful rebound after falling short with BEC (70) but once again I fell short (65). I feel like my world has completely turned upside down. I’m not really sure what direction to go in next.
After sitting for AUD I immediately started studying for FAR. Currently on F2 (Becker) and my NTS expires 9/2. I’ve been out of school for quite some time so it’s nearly like I’m learning all these FAR concepts all over again. I’m also blessed to have a FINRA exam for work I need to study for (my NTS for that runs out 9/21 – 2nd attempt – not the best test taker here – suffer from extreme test anxiety).
I’m not sure I can handle a 3rd failed attempt. With my current work situation, I’ve been debating pushing back FAR and eating the cost of the NTS. I’ve already come to terms with the fact that I will need to take a part/parts of the exam after 2017 changes.
Where should I go from here? Stick with FAR (possibly fail due to studying FINRA at the same time), go back to BEC or AUD?
Any advice/direction would be greatly appreciated.
