I’ll continue the “9 days out” trend that is happening with new topics…!

So, I am 9 days out of FAR…at times I feel ready, and at others I don’t. I have 50 more Ninja MCQ questions to do that I have not seen. I am currently trending at 77% with a 70% avg. My scores initially were a little low, but they’re coming back up as I started mixing in some MCQs generated through the Adaptive Phase rather then only ‘New Questions’. I plan to continue knocking out MCQs up until test date alongside some SIMS, of which, I have not started. I used Roger for the lecture and also have Ninja Notes.

Do you guys have any additional advice as I approach test day? These uneven emotions are annoying!

I tell everyone this because I think it truly helped me pass: I made a cheat sheet of every single journal entry and a cheat sheet of every single formula I came across and just studied it like crazy the last few days. I had an insanely hard time with FAR so I relate to your uneven emotions!

    B- Pass
    A- Pass

    F- Pass

    B 10/29/16
    A 10/1/16

Study JE's, make sure you understand Gov/NFP as thats at least 25% of the total exam, and study IFRS. If you can nail those topics that covers almost 35 to 40% of the exam I'd say

    AUD - 91
    BEC - 91
    FAR - 94
    REG - 87
    Done!

FAR- taken 8/11/16....now the wait begins
    AUD- scheduled 9/8/16
    BEC- scheduled 10/9/16
    REG-scheduled 12/10/16

Definitely, definitely make sure you understand Government/Non-Profit accounting. I found it to be the most difficult material and it is also a good portion of the exam.

Thank you all for the advice!

I've been working on MCQs related to govt and nfp from ninja, roger, and Wiley. I'll continue that focus.

I'll definitely begin a JE cheat sheet. There are times where I struggle to remember some of those. I also need to work on slowing down when reading the question… Because man, dumb mistakes have caused me a lot of frustration on practice quizzes!
