Education Requirements Conundrum

    Hello,

    I have been trying desperately to determine, what the state board considers a “general education core” class. The other ones are pretty self evident, but this is fairly ambiguous.

    I have reached out to the organization, who issues the licenses in the state, but they won’t give me a concrete answer as to what explicitly determines weather a class falls under this category. Would an elective humanities fall under this category? Are the classes grouped based upon the letters? The state board referred me to the school, while the school referred me to the state board. I went to two different registrars, an adviser and a professor, who only told me to take business classes-clearly other general core classes fall outside the realm of business classes. I called the state board back and spoke to someone else, who stated they can’t “audit the classes” I’ve already taken, since they would have too many to audit. Yet they can’t give me a concrete answer on my question either. I basically asked if I should just gamble 3k and see if they “accept them later” to which I got a stutter.

    Guy was very nice, it’s just they should have a DAMN CONCRETE ANSWER. Basically, I was only told that a general elective was not an elective class, but this doesn’t answer my question on weather an elective humanities core class requirement is considered a core class; he couldn’t give an answer. I also can’t determine if I can take classes, which fall outside the realm of Math, science, English and history. Would nutrition be considered biology, for example (since it’s listed as a BU class?

    Anyone know how I can get these answers or know of them themselves? This is ridiculous and explains why most business is flooding out my state. Guess I might just have to “take a gamble.”

    B=84 This exam was such a b**** that I thought I failed-don't know how these things work
    A=76 Slacker I am, I'll happily take it
    R=81 I LOVE taxes
    F=80 I don't wanna get banned for an expletive I'm thinking with "yea" proceeding it
