I know everyone is a bit nervous going into the score release. I figured I would share my dream that took place yesterday after I had taken my REG exam.
I dreamt that I was going to take my REG exam when they had a problem accessing my information. When they pulled my information up, it showed that I had failed AUD and didn’t show FAR at all. I said there must’ve been a mistake and can they please look into it.
Meanwhile, I go off to my parents who I tell the news to. They said don’t worry, it’s probably a mistake and then I go back to the people I was talking to. There was a new person there and he tells me that I had gotten an 61 in AUD. I say that couldn’t be, I got this paper right here that says that I got an 85. I pulled out my paper and gave it to him. He writes something on it and hands it back. He had crossed out my 85 and put 61 then initialed next to it C.T. I start freaking out and I can’t believe this is happening. I call my girlfriend to tell her that they just told me that I failed everything and there was a computer error or something and that’s why I passed the first time. She tells me not to worry and I tell her that I will call her later as I am freaking out. I tell mom that I have an idea how to solve the problem and she sets up my idea. She puts a burger in aluminum foil and some water inside there. I come over to it and she asks, ‘So we wait for it to heat up?” I say, “That’s not it exactly. I have a plan”…
That’s when I woke up. I tell my girlfriend my dream… only to realize that yes… the solution to failing the CPA was in cooking a burger. I will add that my girlfriend watches a lot of Bob’s Burger’s and clearly… my subconscious enjoys it.
To summarize, the burger plan made perfect sense in my dream and even when I told my girlfriend after I woke up. It made sense right until I repeated myself whereby I realized that my solution was making a burger which would somehow solve everything.
Just an FYI: I passed FAR as well.
