So last weekend a lot of us did a power study weekend… Since it is a holiday weekend in the US and super nice out it may be a challenge to stay focused and push on. I don’t know about anyone else, but it is nice having support from this community to stay motivated. So whoever wants to participate I challenge you all to another MCQ power weekend. I have less than 10 days until the next exam about just over 1000 Ninja MCQs left to complete the first time through. Anyone up to the challenge to do 750+ MCQs in this 3 day weekend??? I am shooting for 750 but would love to finish all 1000. It can be done who is with me!?

I have to somehow knock out 418 questions not answered correctly by tomorrow night. I did around 280 MCQs yesterday, and 150 so far today.

well this is day two of power weekend….some have take their part in the last few days, but has anyone completed the ninja mcq's until puke stage? I'm still trying to not get discouraged, but the more questions i attempt the more, i get wrong. Anyone else struggling this weekend?

P.s I'm not giving up, just disgusted… no i'm not changing the date again….I can't I need to get started on Far. :-((

It's really a tough balance – sometimes I get them wrong because I think I remember something about an answer and I don't – or it's from a different question. It's really maddening.

I've been going for a week straight now (great way to spend a vacation) and a pretty dedicated study schedule before that. How people study for three weeks and take these things is beyond me.

From 8 – noon or so I've been doing SIMS and just learning/looking up stuff I don't know and from there till bed for MCQ's. I'm really glad I worked on the SIMS – helped clarify some things I thought I understood but really didn't.

OK going to bed now, no more late nights!

Just did the DRS practice in Wiley. Glad I did. I'm going to go back over stuff I did at the beginning – dependents, HOH status requirements, etc. Thinking about just reviewing tomorrow. It's a toss up betwen whether doing more random MCQ's is best (which will get you some practice in topics you haven't hit, but have a low probability of being tested) versus working on weaker areas and reviewing.

People are right about the fact that you can't practice for SIMS, but that doesn't mean doing SIMS doesn't improve your test-taking knowlege.

^^^Thats a pretty tight window for FAR. I know mileage may vary, but I've been on this initial run for about a month and I'm only 3/4 of the way through. I'd put everything into REG first, then reassess since we have until 9/10. I'm juggling multiple sections this window, but 2 of them will be retakes, so just final review.

I know it's tight but my nts will expire and I have not taken either part. So cram it is and fingers crossed…..I have taken far before so I am familiar with it. I should have retook far first, but I thought my strength was reg to give me a jump start. Boy, was I wrong…this is my second time taking reg as well. I know, cpa suicide.:-((
