So last weekend a lot of us did a power study weekend… Since it is a holiday weekend in the US and super nice out it may be a challenge to stay focused and push on. I don’t know about anyone else, but it is nice having support from this community to stay motivated. So whoever wants to participate I challenge you all to another MCQ power weekend. I have less than 10 days until the next exam about just over 1000 Ninja MCQs left to complete the first time through. Anyone up to the challenge to do 750+ MCQs in this 3 day weekend??? I am shooting for 750 but would love to finish all 1000. It can be done who is with me!?

I'm self funded too and self employed so my busy season is over and from what I understand tax season is going to be a mess next year. So I really want to put my self in a better position. As for expensive: you got that right. I don't want to spend on anymore books or review materials, the test costs enough by itself. I have to trust ninja now because that's all I can afford. My friends and family keep asking when will I finish. I wish I had never told them. Some are well wishers the others are simply annoying. I almost feel like a whiner and can't make any decisions but hey I just want to realize a life long dream CPA. Hey I got it, can we start a go fund me to pay for the test fees?…lol (where is skynet when you need him)

well I took reg last night so I'm done with it til score release. I posted my reg experience too. I'm on to far. I started with ninja notes tonight and I'll try some mcq's in the a.m. I only have 30 days as of now. I might go ahead and eat the test fees and take the full month and be ready Oct 1. I know if I fail, I would have to be ready oct/nov window anyway. So I am setting the goal and seeing how much I can get done and solid before next month.

mtaylo, i took all my exams in raleigh. those folks are great. i left good vibes in there so use them!!
all i used was ninja mcq and books and free youtube and all things google could find that were helpful. ninja was cost effective and provided the essentials for me.

Trying to hit as many Ninja MCQ my brain can handle. And unfortunately with AUD you have to read every single word cause “THEY” are always trying to trick you!

I think that's Ninja MCQ more than anything lol. I've done a few sessions for REG and its seems like every question has been a trick question.

Just completed another power weekend. Sent the family away and did nonstop MCQs. I am not trending as well as I had hoped on BEC, about 75% through my first round of MCQ and 15 days away from test day. I am starting to panic a little. The family will go away for the next two weekends. Hoping it is going to click before then.

And not to mention we did a major software upgrade over the weekend so tomorrow will be fun fielding all the issues and questions 🙁

Here's to a good week and hopefully get in the other 25% of MCQs in before the next power weekend.

@NancyD8 and Mtaylo: I thought you guys were finished, what are you studying for? I am coming back regrouping after helping my niece and nephew with my sisters estate. I have learned a lot about estate tax while helping…..But I think I need to really get it together I am anxious about passing and ready to get it done. Not ready for power weekend though…..
