    Does anyone else feel like the worst part of these exams is actually waiting for you score to be released? I do not like waiting the 2-3 weeks after your test to finally receive your score. It is very hard to concentrate and studying not knowing if you will have to re study for the exam you just took or not.

    I'd have to agree with CPA2BEE. I think the WORST part is starting a new section and feeling absolutely overwhelmed. I'm not a stranger to REG. I did try studying for it once but I failed since I had less than 3 weeks and I skipped a lot of days (coupled with major family drama going on at that time). Studying for it with a new slate does feel a little better since I DO have time, but man. The amount of information and details is SO startling….

    It's like once you get past the hurdle of going through all the material and refining your edges, then you'll feel better. But I don't know if I'll get there… sighs…

    @jules_cpa I took my last test on the first weekend of the testing window (Oct 5th) and I passed (obviously, cause it was my last). It was REG. So, let's hope it's good luck to take exams near the start of the window – maybe they give you an extra 0.5 points for each extra day you wait. haha.

    For me, the worst part is coming home after the exam — physically and emotionally drained, and already counting the weeks and days before score release — to look up the answers to all of the questions I was iffy on… and discovering that all of my best guesses were wrong.

    @ag12thman

    My study technique is that I'm not working, lol. I wouldn't really advise that for other people cause finding a job is not so easy…..FML. I'm low energy and need lots of sleep in order to think properly. I don't think I could have handled working and studying for FAR or REG at the same time. Those were brutal. AUD and BEC were not nearly as bad, so I probably should have worked while studying for those 2….oh well.

    It actually took me 5 months to study for the 4 exams. I started studying for FAR in April. I did about 6 weeks for REG and AUD. And a little less than 3 weeks for BEC. I just read the book and did the assigned questions in study mode (immediate feedback). I didn't watch videos and only took a little tiny bit of notes. Then I did Ninja MCQs by category/new questions. I always ran out of time, so never got to the review phase. I did the Ninja MCQs slowly and looked stuff up in the textbook if I didn't understand the question very well. And I read all the little hyperlink explanations that are in each Ninja MCQ. After I was done with the MCQs, I did the SIMs in Ninja during the 2 days leading up to the exam.

    I have a crappy memory but somehow it worked. I really recommend doing the Ninja MCQs by category and not doing random questions pulled from different sections. It's a little monotonous/painful but by doing a whole bunch of questions on the same topic in a row really helps to get the info into your brain.

    I'm not looking forward to this upcoming score release. I'm taking my REG retake on Oct 24 and don't get my grade till Nov 22. That's an eternity.

    Done! 9 tests over 16 months. Failed first 3 with Becker. Passed 4 of next 6 with Ninja MCQ.

    FAR: 39,59,TBD
    BEC: 74,79
    AUD: 77
    REG: September
