The Good News: This is an updated platform and we can do a lot more with it (like make an app – which people have been asking for…)

The Bad News: Not all of the half a million posts made the journey…but most did. We lost about the last month’s worth of posts.

Short term sacrifice for long-term gain and all of that.

There will be a learning curve for sure…hope it goes mostly smooth.

Some of the old favorites (HIYA Button) will be coming back…we just wanted to launch the thing asap.

@Tripin The way I posted the screenshot was to save it to my computer (I used Snipping Tool to take it, but you can also use the PrintScreen button and paste it into Microsoft Paint), then uploaded to imgur.com, and pasted the link into my post. The forum automatically converted the link into an embedded image.

Thank you Jeff for working hard and improving the forum. I like the new functions. Only thing I miss about the previous forum is the interface, which was simple and easy to read. I find it very hard to read through the forum with new design. Maybe it's just me. Anyways Great Work!!

Hmmm maybe i'm just not used to it yet, but I feel like there is too much space between every topic in the new design and I find it harder to find a topic that I'm interested in. And white background design looks nice but it makes hard to sort out information or I don't know where to look… I'm sorry I'm not explaining well.
It is definitely the best CPA website though. I cannot thank you enough for helping me to pass this test. Without the help of Ninja Note, MCQ, and conversations on this forum, I don't think I could've passed!

Yeah, there is a lot of empty space. Have to scroll up and down a lot more than before. White is kind of glaring to the eye. Light grey or light blue is easier on the eyes.

I do like how if you click on someone's profile you can see their previous posts easily. In the old forum, you could see what threads they posted in and when but not the actual post. It was such a pain to find their post if it was in a mega thread.

Just thought you might want to look into that. 🙂 In case it doesn't do it on everyone's computer, I'm running Windows 7, tested in Opera, Chrome, and IE. Opera and Chrome had the issue; IE seems to not have the issue. I hate that IE was better for something. 😐 Only time I ever open IE is to test if a website bug exists in it too…hate IE. 😛

I have Chrome, using Windows 7. I still see Chinese writing and squares on the top row this morning.
