Does anyone know how often the NYS board releases the list of new CPA members? If so, where can I find this information?

From what I was able to tell, they do not release a list of new CPA's. There is a website where you can verify that a person is licensed wither using their name or license number. Here is the website: http://www.op.nysed.gov/opsearches.htm . If you go there you can periodically type in your name and see if there is a result. You could also go the way I went and search by number. Currently the last license issued in NYS is 135392 so you would then add one and search again till it was issued. Its interesting seeing all the names come up as they are licensed if anything.
