I just managed to land this temp-to-hire finance/book-keeping/accounting position (from a headhunter), but unfortunately, managed to lose the job after 1 week. Last week, i was told I was doing really well, but then told I wasn’t experienced enough for this entry level position, I have a few years experience. For some reason or another, the position didn’t work out after 1 week, since, there were errors in the work I was doing, resulting from errors the prior person was responsible for at that position (as well as the fact, i couldn’t quite put my finger on what the person had done). In addition, i focused on quality, when i feel that they wanted a person to pump stuff out. They didn’t even say it to my face they were getting rid of me, instead they told the recruiter I was done and I wasn’t even given until the end of the week.
Am i going to lose my benefits because, i’ve read, i’m now an “employee” of the temp agency?
I have the CPA exam next week, so i guess i just need some moral support to learn from this situation and crush the exam next week, after all, i’ve been studying like crazy. I guess i can use the free time to study like mad.
B=84 This exam was such a b**** that I thought I failed-don't know how these things work
A=76 Slacker I am, I'll happily take it
