REG in 2 days…Have the tax portion down for most part. Business Law – Not so much. Not even enough where I’ve seen everything or even have the other portions understood fully. I’m not the type to walk in there winging it with these tests. Cancel and go for the new one or sit on Friday? Is the new going to be that much different?

    BEC - 77

    AUD - 85

    REG - TBD

    FAR - Q2

My advice is, without a doubt, go for it. Much to gain, little to lose.

If money isn't an issue, then go for it. What do you have to lose?

I second @RE2PECT and @cmcook‘s advice. Go for it. I had scheduled to take AUD this past Monday, and like you, I had a few things come up that affected my study schedule but nonetheless I decided to just take it. What's the worst that could happen? A retake. But hey, who knows you may also end up passing and not have to look at it again! I am by no means trying to underestimate studying for BLaw. While Tax is 80% of the exam, BLaw can give you those easy points. You didn't mention what course software you're using but my advice is, if you're using Becker, in the interest of time, just focus on all the topics that Peter Olinto's asks you to.

Hammer B-law questions today and tomorrow and go for it.
I'm pretty sure there is no such thing as a B-Law SIM. 🙂

Go for it definitely. REG was intimidating at first, but after a while you will see pattern recognition in how to answer the questions. After about a month of going pretty hard at REG, it honestly doesn't seem like that bad of a test. With that said, I am taking it on Friday as well and don't feel as prepared as I should, but I have been doing well on the MCQs, SIMs, and practice exams so we'll just have to see.

Go for it! I'm in the same boat as you. You have to remember that B-Law only accounts for about 20% of the MCs which is about 14 questions. Just take a couple of quizzes covering all topics and try to look up the answers you got wrong. I went through all the vids and questions for B-Law and I honestly feel that I should have spent that time studying for Tax instead. You basically just have to know a little bit about a lot of topics, so this is why I say doing a couple quizzes over all the topics should work. Good luck to you my friend, I hope that we will both be celebrating come the 21st.

I'm going to tell you to go for it!! I was the same way. I had the tax portion down to the wire. I knew tax backwards and forwards and I didn't take corporate tax in undergrad. I'm using Roger and Lambers CPA program. Business law was kind of fuzzy but I could make sense of it. I read the business law chapters for 2 days before my test so that it would marinate in my mind. I wanted to reschedule but I'm so glad I didn't. In my case, EVERYTHING I studied was on the test and that was mainly tax for me. I would've never known that if I would've canceled. So just go for it!! I took my test on Monday (3/6/17)…so if you take it, we can share our results with each other!! 🙂 Good luck fellow candidate!!
