If you had to pick one attribute of each section that you believe to be the worst, what would it be? For example, I’ll start…

The worst part of BEC is the mind-numbing (and incredibly boring) cost accounting topics involved.

    Go go go go!

    BEC - âś”
    REG - âś”
    AUD - âś”
    FAR - 11/29/14

CPAExcel, Ninja MCQs, and a sh*t ton of coffee

BEC – Financial Management & Capital Budgeting. I was a non-business undergrad major and only saw financial ratios in one finance class before my BEC studies so I really struggled to get all of the formulas memorized. By the time I got to variances I was just so happy that they were something I'd seen before, lol.

AUD – The wording of the questions – they can easily trip you into trick you into picking the wrong answer.. One word changes everything.

REG – So many concepts – exceptions to the concepts and but then there is this “other” situation to know… Drove me nuts!!! The SIMS have to be the worst. In the exam they get presented in a way that leaves you wondering.,”Are you asking me what the ingredients to a banana split is or are you asking me how to make it??”

BEC – I have to admit i didn't have issues with this one.. If i had one complaint it was IT – Geez AICPA update this section to 21st century, I thought i was being tested on things from the 1980's.

FAR – I have not done this yet but I can tell you the “volume” is kind of freaking me out…

    I am done!!

    BEC – Taking the test

    AUD – Taking the test

    REG – Taking the test

    FAR – Taking the test

Y'all are far more creative than I am. I didn't mind studying, which is a good thing since I did it for 5 years. For me the worst part was actually sitting in the hot seat. That's when all sorts of bad mojo would start to happen. I'm lucky that I walked out of some exams knowing my name. I kept having to replace things in my brain in order to put one more thing in, because they might ask a question about. I am very fortunate that I finished before I had to replace the part of my brain that tells me not to fart in public to remember some stupid REG rule.

FAR: Just the sheer amount of information you need to memorize and/or be familiar with.

REG: Business law. I remember how annoyed I would get with reading extremely wordy questions that involve multiple parties/contracts/exchanges/etc.

AUD: I thought some of the answers to questions were very subjective. I often found myself just blankly memorizing answers to questions because I couldn't see a clear reasoning as to why one answer is clearly better than the other one.

    BEC: IT was extremely boring.

The worse part about each section is waiting for scores and paying exam fees.
