Haven’t seen one of these posts in awhile so I thought I’d start one. Took a sick day and headed to the library to buckle down for my upcoming 2/3/18 exam.

I have but 1 study goal for this weekend. MASTER CORP TAX AND SIMS!

Good luck to all those studying for exams next week

My AUD exam is June 7 so this weekend and next weekend will both be power weekends. My plan this weekend is to complete section 4 in Wiley then do 300 MCQs(100 MCQs each for sections 2-4). Will start section 1 on Monday to finish up all sections. Keep grinding everyone!

    FAR-Mar 9,2020 (failed 71), retest May 21
BEC-Passed(I had a few stops and starts because I was studying during my busy season. Lost track of my study stats.)
    AUD-Passed(8 weeks,1877 MCQs, and 38 TBSs)-Wiley
    REG-Passed(10 weeks, 2000 MC)-Wiley

I'm in for power weekend. I am using it to re-gain a momentum. I am starting with notes and going topic by topic mcq's.

I'm in for a power weekend as well. I just made it to my local Starbucks and I plan to do a mix of MCQs, note review, and videos for my struggle topics. I don't know what it is, but my trending score is sitting disrespectfully at 62%. I need to focus on gaining a better understanding of these concepts. I'm not sure if you mentioned it above, but have you already sat for REG?

@BORN TO WIN, yes I have sat for reg and scored miserably. My trending score didn't get above 60% and I should have waited but just got too anxious about getting it over with. Well, it's over with a fail. 🙁 So this time I am going back to lectures and the book for problem areas.

^^Gotcha. Well, I'm confident you'll do much better and pass on the next go around. Each time I've failed, it's been because I went into the exam without knowing enough about the key topics. My hope on this last exam is to know enough about each topic in order to pull out a pass. I was supposed to do some MCQs, but I spent all of my time today viewing the PLUS videos, taking notes, and taking more notes. I'm actually going to take a much needed break and come back later this evening for about 3 hours. My hope is to view more videos, take and review more notes. I have to get better in my weak areas.

Just finished up all 4 AUD sections in Wiley. I'm going to start my review week a little early(today) and hopefully be prepared enough to take and pass the exam on June 7. Happy studying everyone!

It's power weekend again. I'm in. I've started this morning/afternoon re-writing ninja notes. I am going to incorporate several study suggestions with 100 mcq's per day. Fingers crossed, I hope I can get it done. I will be posting my hard questions so check in guys. Study hard, and good luck to those sitting soon.

Currently at work but I'm in as well. Work has been super stressful lately so sitting down to study has been difficult this week. I'm going to try to really get motivated and back on track this weekend. I just started REG about 2 weeks ago so I'm still learning the concepts, but I hope to make it through a good chunk of material this weekend.

I spent a lot of time yesterday re-writing Ninja notes and listening to audio. I put tabs in my book so I can easily find information for questions I struggle with. That wasn't my plan but it is a good foundation for my mcq session for today. My plan is to do 100 or more today. Not just do them but make sure I am learning and understanding. Keep studying hard, it will be test time before we know it.

Sitting for BEC on Monday, I find myself losing focus and feeling as if I'm over studying (what?). In reality I'm just so burned out. I've been studying non stop since September of last year. Passed FAR and REG, and I've had to really make myself focus for BEC. Keeping my fingers crossed to pass.

So plan for today is to: review note cards for COSO, IT, and Cap Budgeting. Do multiple sets of MCQs for them.

Tomorrow: Review note cards for ECON, Cost Accounting, do multiple sets of MCQs, review ninja notes, and rewrite formulas and at last take the AICPA practice exam to get a gist for the SIMs.

I'm here this weekend as well. I was supposed to be taking REG tomorrow, but I know I'm not ready. So, instead of wasting my time, money, and effort on a half-behind attempt…I decided to reschedule and go in there with a lot more confidence in my understanding of the material. @Tncincy thanks for giving me the advice to do what you wished you had done.

Tonight, I'm not quite sure how I want to approach the material. But, I'm thinking I should approach it similarly to a retake after a fail. I believe it may make more sense to hit the start over. I have Roger, Becker and Ninja materials to take advantage of. Though, the NINJA Plus videos were really key in helping me identify some of the missing elements in those MCQs.

    @hopeful20 coffee lol

@born to win, goodluck! I spent an entire day on corps and then entire day on partnerships. These are the most important chapters in REG more than BLAW, Individual and whatever else in there.

Today is my last day of review before I sit for BEC. I'm feeling really nervous, as if the Wiley review wasn't enough. I've been kind of all over the place with my review. Goals of today include to at least review Ninja Notes, do the AICPA practice exam. Sims for key areas, review ratios/formulas.

I'm doing partnerships and s-corps today. Fun stuff. Trying to get through the learning stage of those topics and maybe 100-200 MCQ. We'll see how the day progresses. Luckily I seem to be getting the hang of partnerships so far.
