@Namstut- I'd just take it and see what happens. All you have to lose is the exam fee. I'd rather take the chance and possibly be done than drag it out into the summer. My wife had a baby 4 weeks before I took FAR. I didn't think I was ready, but took it anyway and pulled it off.

haha @re2pect I feel the same way. It doesn't matter how prepared I am, I almost have to come into an exam 10 points more prepared then my actual score because how bad my test anxiety is. It's basically guaranteed I will get brain lock on some easy concepts I could answer in 2 seconds out of the test center.

@dtatham10- Some days I feel like everything is clicking and there's nothing that gets past me. Then there's other days where I feel like I can't get anything right. I just hope the day I take REG again is one of those days where I'm on top of my game.

@re2pect I know exactly what you mean! Over my time I have found that Mondays and Friday aren't good test days because of that. I've actually told my wife many times the same thing you said, just pray the day I wake up for my exam that its one of the days I'm sharp and on top of it.

I got my score yesterday for my second attempt at REG. I went from a 61 to 73. Why couldn't it be 75?

I'm wondering anyone did both AUD and BEC in one month,
here is the situation, I finished my FAR exam in Jan. 2016, and stuck in BEC for 4 times “I know was dum thing to do”, and I did my REG exam a week ago, so I'll receive my result in 2 weeks.
but I was thinking since I did the BEC 4 times and got 72 in the last 2 times, I might be able to study BEC and AUD in 30 days, any suggestions ??

@dtatham10 and @re2pect, please remind me when you are taking your exams! @dtatham10, if I remember it correctly, yours is on the 23rd. @re2pect?
The notifications for this study group have finally been fixed (turned off) so I want to know when to check in to find out how awesome you did!

An interesting side story – I've always used a tax accountant to do my taxes and I have been using the same tax preparer for many years. This year I decided to check my tax return (because I am so smart after studying for REG! LOL!)…and I found a bunch of errors in my return! He omitted some of the forms I provided and reported some of the items incorrectly! My personal tax audit resulted in a $2,000 return compared to the liability he calculated! Needless to say, I am not going back to him and going forward I will be preparing my own tax returns.

Mike and Jane Lewis, a married couple filing a joint return, paid funeral expenses of $10,000 for their dependent child in the current year. Select the appropriate tax treatment of the funeral expenses.

… Don't want to end my night on THIS question. Guess I'll do another 20 in hopes the questions get a little less dark haha.

@Namstut- I'm taking it on 2/27. Originally had it scheduled for 1/17, but moved it back because I didn't feel totally confident. I'm treating this like it's my last shot at passing and don't want to give myself any excuses this time.

That's hilarious that you ended up getting yourself more money back than your tax guy. I'd check out some of your prior returns and see if he made the same mistakes. I still need to do my taxes, but I'll probably wait till after my exam.

How are you liking Roger for FAR?
