@dtatham10 – Maybe I'm misinterpreting, but it seems like he's stating you can get partial credit on a research sim. He mentions it around the 1 minute mark.

I thought Becker gave partial credit on their research SIMS.

I believe Becker does give partial credit. However there was a lecture by Michael Brown where he said they were all or nothing. It's been about a year since I listened to it so I'm not even sure where to look to dig it up again.

I see what you're saying but I read it as the unusual customer transaction alerts the bank that the customer might be up to some shady business and so obviously they wouldn't notify the customer but file a report. Hope that helps.

Fellow beautiful future CPAs,

I have a stupid question about DRS…. Do the questions give us options, as in this picture?

I remember seeing an old post about someone not having options on their DRS; they had to type in their answers. I'm trying to do some research on that but can't verify it. If anyone here has done a DRS on a recent exam, please let me know 🙂 I hope these stupid things aren't too difficult or time-consuming.

If you get a DRS, you can probably expect to see a selection of possible answers for each scenario. What are thoughts on DRS questions being dropped?

Anyone have any thought on whether the DRS question is dropped or included in your score?

@aatoural on the gleim unit 6 first sim with the 1250 recapture. Why does the 2nd transaction have a recognized gain? I thought boot needed to be exchanged?

also, same unit sim 5 the gift transaction where the mother pays 19k in gift tax…my brain isn't comprehending that at the moment! It's question #3
