Opps I changed my answer. It should be mutual mistake, letter A.

Here's my list for all voidable cases:

    Minors

    Intoxication

Mutual mistake => Contracts based on mutual mistake of material facts

    Fraud in the inducement

    Legally incompetent persons

    Unilateral mistake – material

    I -Influence => Undue influence

    Simple duress

    Mental incompetency

does anyone actually print out the tax forms and study them? I heard that is actually a thing..

@cpasucks, I actually did. I had them all printed out, most of the basic tax forms and schedules for 2013 tax year since I took REG the first time in Q4. Now, those forms are no longer useful because calendar tax year 2014 is now testable. On my retake now, I just saved all those forms I need for 2014 under one tax file on PDF. It's really advantageous to have two computer screens while studying at home.

Now my dilemma is understanding to connect the tax form to its corresponding schedule, let's say for S Corporation.

I hope someone can help me here now.

Let's say I am sole owner of an S Corp and MFJ taxpayer. So my S Corp must prepare F1120S plus Schedule K-1 and I also must file my own F1040, right?

I am a little jealous here because you guys are way a head into your studying. I started a couple days ago. I will be finishing up ETHICS in a couple days if i stay focus and then BLAW. But school is kicking my bd with homework and other things at the same time. Well I will get through this aweful BLAW section because I pretty much know nothing and will have to teach myself.

So, I will be asking a lot of questions here in this forum because all I have is an undergraduate tax class not covering corporation and so on only individual

    AUD-01/19/15- PASSED! FIRST TRY
    REG-05/28/15- PASSED! FIRST TRY
    BEC-07/11/15- Scheduled
    FAR-08/31/15- Not Scheduled

ALLAH HELP ME PASS THESE AWEFUL TESTS.

Quitting is NOT in my dictionary. I will rise one day as a proud CPA...

Don't we go to a prison by physical compulsion? LOL

I think, you may be right, that's void. That's extreme duress.

Well, understanding any type of law, common law or business law is HARD.

NINJAs come out on their suits with only eyes bare open.

People at law, especially Lady Justice, walk and come out in the open with a blindfold.

Wannabe, yes physical duress is void, that is strange.

I started doing some of the ninja mcq in supplement to my becker. Am not crazy about them (but they cost next to nothing so I guess I can't complain). There were definitely some random questions in there not in the becker material but that is how ninja was with BEC. anyone else thoughts on this? I guess the exam is fair game though to the randomness..

I should get through review of R4 tomorrow, need to work on SIMS, so then it constant tax questions and on to BLAW review, oh and finish chapter 8. – ___-

    AUD - 73,91
    FAR - 79 - Thank you God!
    BEC - 73,79!!!!
    REG - 92 whatttt??!

I used Becker review + flashcards, Ninja Audio, Ninja MCQ supplement on BEC and REG.

    Done! Praise God!

Voidable means the courts might agree to cancel the contract, whereas void means there is no contract at all…so physical duress means a contract wasn't formed, while misstatements of facts means there is a contract, but the courts can cancel it if one party proves there was a misstatement of fact..and they relied on that fact to agree to the contract..hope that makes sense..

The question is asking for voidable not voided. Voidable was a 2013 released question and the answer is C (duress under physical compulsion). However, this question is asking for voidable, which is different, so I think A is the right answer with the explantation listed in an above post.

@Amor D: That was tricky. It's like medical mileage. Try to think of it in extreme cases, like someone driving from Tennessee to see a doctor at M.D. Anderson in Houston, TX because there are cancer specialists at the hospital.

@Gabe: Yup, hopefully we'll be in the same score release and posting in “I passed REG” and “I passed the CPA exam” 🙂 God be with us both!

I am summarizing the different year ended of individual/C-Corp/S-Corp etc and I understand Personal Services Corporation can be either a calendar year ended or fiscal year ended. If a calendar year ended not be chosen, what is the most common fiscal year ended for C-Corp and Personal Services Corp?

I dont know why Becker spends so much time and goes soo detail into blaw.

I for sure god damn know if any blaw question pops up its going to be general question.

    FAR - 76*, 73, 85
    BEC - 69, 72, 78*, 80

    @Mika

I know C Corps can pick any year-end they want, as long as it's the last day of the month. Not to confuse you more, but C corps can also have a 52-53-week tax year. Which means their last day of the year is never the same date… One year it's like May 31, next year it's June 1, June 2, then May 30th… It gets troublesome… But they count actual days.

    BEC - PASS (79)
    AUD - PASS (63, 71, 74, 74, 83)
    REG - PASS (88)
    FAR - PASS (58, 89)

Becker for all + FAR 10 Point Combo
