ms500, I didn't need to go that far. once I got to the point of picking the exam(s) I wanted to re-take, I had my answer.

I think the OH loophole is more relevent if you are waiting for your last part. People are getting a message when they log in to OH saying that they have already passed all 4 parts of the uniform CPA exam. This was happening with the other parts earlier in the week and I didn't read where anyone received the “all 4 parts” message and then failed. But who knows, I'm not banking on it, I will need to see my score on the screen to believe it. TONIGHT I hope!

I am in SC and tried the loophole on the OH site to re-register for FAR, which I was waiting for NASBA to release Wednesday night. FAR is not my last exam but was my last one for my NTS. FAR was not greyed out and I was allowed to re-register. Later that night I saw my 69.

One other person stated she could re-regsiter earlier Monday but not later on that night and she passed. Just keep checking. It will be interesting to see if the loophole works.

I still had to see it officlally posted by NASBA. Dammit.

In my experience NASBA doesn't work weekends, nor do they update at anytime that isn't around 9pm eastern, so if they aren't up tonight it won't be until Monday evening.

i feel like we won't know about this loophole until NASBA releases all the scores – because it will only work with NASBA states, being that trying to reregister with Ohio requires Ohio to know our scores. The independent states don't share a database with NASBA I don't think. Therefore, the previous post indicating that a friend could register but then passed indicates that the friend was not NASBA (as they know their score), and it stands to reason that they could register because NASBA didn't have their scores.

NASBA has never posted on the weekend in my year of taking these exams. If you are an independent state or have a special agreement with NASBA like get your score by email which are few there is some hope but if your are not then there is no hope in getting your score until Monday evening if it does not happen tonight. Hopefully all the IT issues are resolved.

I think the loophole does work (at least in Indiana) because last window when I found out I didn't pass BEC I knew before my score posted because it let me reapply. Now I am waiting to find out for REG so I tried to go in through NASBA and reapply and it says all of my exams are in process (because I have either passed them or are in process with NTS'). So I am hoping that means that I passed REG! I will find out soon enough…..
