    NJCPA2B….. I hated Audit…..I knew everything inside out when I took for the second try..but I still ask myself…how the hell I failed the Auditing for second time cuz when I came out from exam I thought I did good compare to first time when I took the exam without knowing much.

    NY-CPA, I agree AUD is the worst! When I took AUD the 1st time, I walked-out of the test center super confident! In my mind I thought I scored 99, but reality gave me a 70.

    I still haven't gotten my 2nd AUD scored yet, I'm terrified to think about failing again….especially when my brain thinks it knows the material fairly well.

    What did you do different on your 3rd AUD attempt and which review material did you use?

    BEC=77, FAR=78, REG=73,74,80, AUD=70,69, 84 DONE!

    out of all four parts, I liked the Reg most…I only studied approximately 5-6 weeks and I guess it was more than good enough. However, when I took the exam I thought I bombed the exam but yet I passed with 85…I think there has to be some sort of miracle for me to get 85 after such a horrible feeling

    NY-CPA I feel the same way, must have been a miracle.

    Though of the 2 parts I've taken so far, I liked audit better. I feel this way because at least all 5 chapters in Becker tied together. You used knowledge learned in other chapters to bring it all together. But for regulation I just felt like not enough stuff tied together. Tax, commercial paper, bankruptcy, agency, etc.. It tied a little, just not as logically as audit did.

    AUD - 92 :: REG - 99 :: FAR - 92 :: BEC - 82

    I didn't use anything else beside Becker….I was keep doing the same thing….over and over because I believed that it wasn't becker that I failed…it was me somewhere screwed up….If anything in my opinion becker materials is the best materials to study for Auditing….Every time I took the Audit exam I found they are the same type of question that I did in becker…. So figured out there has to be something wrong with my study strategy. I didn't put so much time on simulation for first and second tried…but put little bit extra time on third tried

    you got tick marks?! what?! don't those differ from firm to firm? I remember they weren't really detailed in Becker and then it showed up in the “Final Exam” in Becker and I was like “no way, that won't be on the exam”

    AUD - 92 :: REG - 99 :: FAR - 92 :: BEC - 82

    I know….Becker didn't cover the tickmarks in details, it was only in final review and final exam….but I was saying samething that I hope I don't see the tick mark….trust me….I opened the first tabs and saw tickmark…..second times when I was taking….first thing I did go over all tabs to check out if there is tick mark….then I found tickmarks too….man I was so pissed off during the exam….lool…

    Whatever I wished that I hope its not on the exam….thats the part I found in the exam…Regulation I was saying I hope I don't see any simulation tabs regarding adjusted basis of the property…yet It just happened to be there….I was telling myself great!!!

    are both simulations scored?

    i feel like becker should give better/harder simulations for us to practice

    i think that they do a good job with the MCQ

    but the simulations are fairly easy, and then when you take the exam, they are not easy at all!

    FAR - 93 , AUD- 96 , REG - 90 , BEC- 5/29

    I think BEcker's “Final Review” for regulation is very helpful…they give addition 8 simulations.
