    I am currently studying for REG w/ Becker and am noticing a lot of different numbers in the personal income tax sections like max. amounts, phaseouts, formulas, percentages, etc. How important is it to know these specific details for the CPA exam? Should I make sure to know the updated amounts Becker has posted? I can’t see why they would test this considering future uncertainty, changes in tax law, inflation adjustments, etc. Thanks for the help.

    Drive,

    I too was worried about that. I didn't worry about the phaseout amounts. The rest i did learn though. I would say that I definitely had to supplement my section 1231, 1245, 1250 and like kind exchanges with other material to get a better grasp. And I am glad that i did!

    IL - BECKER=============> DONE
    REG - 80; FAR - 65,79; AUD - 53,78; BEC - 71,68, 75 (used becker and yaeger for 3rd BEC)Ethics 95

    I'M GONNA CELEBRATE AND LIVE MY LIFE SAYING AYE OH BABY LETS GO!!!!!
