    CPAwannabe,

I felt the exact same way when I left my test. I didn't even remember the drive home and I locked myself in my room and didn't talk to anyone for two days (I just graduated and don't start my job for another week so I had that luxury haha). I moved on and took other parts of the exam but still studied REG for 45 minutes a day to keep REG fresh in my mind since I knew 100% that I failed. Imagine my suprise to see that 84 next to my name 6 weeks after taking the exam. If the test was really hard especially the MCQ's there is a good chance that you will have a suprise much like I did.

Resigning myself to the fact that I will not be getting my score until next week and trying to get my audit on!!!

I wouldn't be so sure that you failed reg. One thing I learned is that with the CPA exam you never know. I was 100% sure I failed FAR because the multiple choice were insane and I left a large portion of each sim blank. Then after weeks of complaining and telling everyone I failed, I passed. So just wait and see what happens.

One good piece of advice I received prior to my reg exam is to review tax forms because they throw some weird forms at you in the simulations. Also if you have flash cards I would review them a lot. I would agree the best study tool is the multiple choice. I went over all of them twice and wrote down the reasons I got questions wrong, which I thought helped.

    Good luck everyone!

I really really hope that the AICPA posts REG today.

    Jeff what are our odds?

Hopefully NASBA can get their IT issues solved and us REG-folks won't have to wait like the poor BEC-folks have. But we still have to wait… and wait… and wait on the AICPA.

I am brand new to this forum. So I am curious how soon Jeff will know once the AICPA has released the scores. I was really hoping for my REG score today. I have passed AUD and BEC, plan on taking FAR next month. However, if I need to retake REG, I would like to get my NTS with REG & FAR together. So the sooner I know my REG score the sooner I can schedule my FAR exam.

I just talked to NASBA, it is confirmed that AICPA will release REG scores next week…oh well, anxious weekend again.

To Fel 327: Hey sorry, I meant REG (post was edited). REG (and FAR) will be released by AICPA next week.

I will be away from my computer later this afternoon…if I get an e-mail about scores, I will e-mail the info to Kricket and she will post it.

I just spoke to NASBA in TN and they said that they were not expecting to get REG released to them until next Tuesday or Wednesday and that I should just keep checking daily. Haha like I am not already doing this!

They did mention that they received BEC, but they have not released them online yet.

It's likely that NASBA REG or AUD (whatever gets released next) won't be out via NASBA until Tuesday…
