got a 74 on reg and need to take it again… I basically memorized the Becker MC's and wasn't overly impressed with the study material in terms of coverage on a lot of the more complex areas I had on my exam. Does anyone recommend one study guide over another just for a change of scenery?

I bought a Wiley book for like 50 bucks that gives you more MC's and Sims. It is cheap and gives you more selection to study.

I just spoke to a NASBA rep and she said they are STILL having IT issues getting all the scores out. Looks like another night of drinking wine and hitting "SUBMIT" over and over again.

@JROB you probably do need a new study material since you probably memorized the materials but which area are you referring to in becker that gave you a hard time. I thought becker was pretty good, it got me an 89, and I hate tax.

I felt the exam had more complex comutations than were in the becker material. I plan on buying the Wiley CD since it seems to be a consensus that its a good value. How about the becker live final review anyone taken that?.. I know its only offered in limited places one of which being 4 blocks from me in NYC so if someone can let me know if its worth it would be greatly appreciated…

OK. Here I am again. Night #3 waiting on my REG score. Apparently I am the only REGger still hoping to find out my score.

NASBA told me today it "should be here soon". I hate them and their IT department.

    CPAWannaBe,

People from WI do not get their scores until all exams are released to NASBA…..so we are waiting and waiting…..I do keep checking…seeing if they made a mistake and accidentally released some scores early!…lol

So I am finally FREE!!! This is my first post in any forum, but I've been a loyal reader throughout my CPA testing journey… I passed REG with 80 (@ Puerto Rico), and since this past Monday I have been the happiest guy in the world!(BEC-78, AUD-75, FAR-83, REG-80) I know the score was released about 3 days ago, but I just wanted to at least leave one posting since now I'm set and done, and waiting for my papers to arrive in the mail to make myself an official CPA soon enough.

Anyway, good luck to all of you still studying…don't give up! this is just a test and there are worst things that could happen besides not passing a part of the CPA. To those of you that just passed REG, CONGRATS!

I'm officially signing out from Puerto Rico…GOOD LUCK to everyone.

P.S.- Yeah Jeff…you have fans down here too!!!

Passed Reg!! 97!!!!! So pumped. All I have left is BEC in two weeks. I used Becker and without my man Peter Olinto I would be lost. Hands down Becker will prepare you better than anyone else. Good luck to everyone else.

    FAR 88

    AUD 92

    REG 97

    BEC ??
