I’ve seen mnemonics scattered all over this forum. Could we get a thread going of nothing but those so that we can see them all in one place?
    Thanks!

I'll share my favorite Roger mnemonic (for FAR)

    For the modified accrual:
    PD–Consents-to-Smoking Grass:
    Permanent
    Debt Service
    Capital Projects
    Special revenue
    General

    and for accrual:
    I-PIPE-Alot
    Internal service
    Pension trust
    Investment trust
    Private-purpose trust
    Enterprise
    Agency (Custodial)

In general I highly recommend Roger! Even just to help you get through governmental accounting its worth to buy the FAR section. The way he teaches it is very intuitive, quick and easy to understand. I don't think there is a better review course out there. Good luck!

Definitely Roger is one of the best CPA lecturer, you never really fall asleep watching his lectures online. It almost feels like watching a movie. Lol I wish i bought his lectures only, i dont know if you can though. His book isnt very good though unfortunately.
