Please share your stories. I took REG at the end of May and I am sure I failed as I had a very limited knowledge of taxation and the test concentrated specifically on taxes so I had to guess too many MCQs and also all of the SIMs except for the research questions. I am sure I did not pass.

    FAR - 89
    AUD - 84
    BEC - 84
    REG - 49, 86
    ETHICS - 96........ DONE!!!

Same here…I walked out feeling like I got the most impossible SIMs they could muster up. Felt good about my MCQ's but as time wore on I began remembering some that I thought I had gotten right, but then looked up and had gotten wrong. I thought at best I had a 50/50 shot at passing. Ended up with a 90.

I think REG is the one test everyone thinks they failed, but ends up doing better on

I guessed on probably half of the MCQ's and I felt overall terrible afterwards. Got by with a 77.. It felt like there was a huge gap in what I studied vs. what I saw on the actual exam. The sims are what probably saved me as I don't think I really bombed any of them. Moral of the story is I walked out feeling like I got a 40.. Don't think too much about it – this test is fair in that if you are well prepared, it is highly likely you will pass!

Felt the same way as many of you. Flagged A LOT of MCQ in both testlets. Felt good about two, maybe three, of the SIMs (including the Research). Did not practice proper time management and had 45 mins to finish the last three SIMs. Scrambled and felt ready for a retake. To add to this, my score didn't load at all yesterday. Had to email the Illinois Board of Examiners for help. Checked this morning…PASSED (76).

    AUD - 75

    REG - 76

    BEC - 85

    FAR - 81

1000% sure I had failed. I couldn't tell if the MCQ's got more difficult or not. It's very easy to mix up entity taxation rules. Make sure to study those in depth. Managed to get by with a 79 and I was convinced I would have to re-take it

Studying for the CPA exam is easy. Its like riding a bike. Except the bike is on fire. And the ground is on fire. And everything is on fire. Because you're in H-E Double hockey sticks

It definitely seems like REG is the exam where people get higher scores than they think (complete opposite of AUD), obviously not the case for everyone, but it seems to be the case for a lot of CPA's I know and people on this forum. I left thinking I got a 60-65, had no idea what half of the questions were, but ended up getting an 83. Basically, when it comes to REG, if you leave feeling like it was awful, know you aren't the only one.

    AUD: 54 (10/31/15); 83 (12/02/17)
    BEC: 70 (01/31/16); 90 (07/02/17)
    FAR: 73 (10/03/15); 88 (02/17/18)
    REG: 83 (06/09/18)
    AICPA Ethics: 91 (06/28/18)
    Licensed: 08/16/18

Walked out feeling way worse than I did walking out of FAR and AUD. Nearly resubmitted my NTS for REG walking out. I felt like I got lucky with the three other sections as far as the questions and sims I got, but I felt like my REG MCQs were impossible and I completely guessed on the sims. Somehow wound up with a 77! I was shocked!
