Please share your stories. I took REG at the end of May and I am sure I failed as I had a very limited knowledge of taxation and the test concentrated specifically on taxes so I had to guess too many MCQs and also all of the SIMs except for the research questions. I am sure I did not pass.

    FAR - 89
    AUD - 84
    BEC - 84
    REG - 49, 86
    ETHICS - 96........ DONE!!!

Who's ready for score release day!? I need a 75 for REG to finish off the CPA. I've failed REG twice now (69 and 72). Any one have any stories of hope relating to this post? Needing some hope cause I don't feel like I passed. Walked out of the exam depressed.

After seeing the score release today I can comment and attest that I thought I had failed Reg since I took it back in April. I couldn't put together how I would possibly pass after feeling like I bombed multiple SIMS and didnt think the MCQ got harder in testlet 2. I got an 88 and had to zoom in to make sure it wasn't a 68.

I thought I totally bombed REG. MCQ didn't seem to get more difficult. There were several MCQs that I didn't even see from Becker materials. I took 1 hour for the 1st MCQ set, and another 1hr for the 2nd MCQ. SIMS seemed fine. Knowing that MCQs are more important that SIMS, I thought I would fail – or maybe pass with 75, if I were lucky. Today I found out that I passed REG with 77. I am just so grateful that I don't have to take this section again.

@mskcle congrats!! I can only imagine what you felt when you thought it was 68.

Hey Guys! I felt the same – i was like 98% sure I failed. I was about ready to reprint a re-exam application….I felt like i failed on most the others I passed but this one was EXTRA hard and flagged multiple MCHoice Questions…and couldnt even tell if the mult choice got harder in the second one. I had my first sim that was something I barely even touched in Becker. By the Grace of God I passed with a 76 (CLOSE ONE). Hard work does pay off! I studied 2 months for this last one and so happy I dont have to take it again. Never Give up!

As with everyone else in this thread — I was 100% sure I failed reg. I was already (lightly) reviewing the material for a retake, and had already opened up these next 3 weeks to review and retake it before I start full time in the fall. Ended up passing with an 80. All I know is there is a hell of a curve on this section, as everyone I know who took it had trouble with it, and everyone seems to have done a lot better than expected.

I think that this is true for all of us who ended up with a REG passing score this quarter. The exam was brutal and it seems as though everyone left feeling as though they failed. Congrats again to all!

I was so sure I failed. I have never understood tax. Really did not want to take this one again. Roger came through!

I'm sure people might think I being a nervous Nelly with my score, but I was ready for a <74 most this time since FAR, so much so that I've been listening to Jeff's REG Audio and watching Roger videos from the beginning all over again, assuming I need to retake.

I wish there was more clarity on the scoring, it's so vague. I know for a fact I messed up badly on at least a couple of SIMs (checked out where I went wrong on the calculations and essentially they had a snowball effect) as well as incorrect choices (confirmed later also).

Congratulations to you all, this quarter was tough!

I thought for sure I failed REG…………and I did with a 74. If I had that one little extra point I would be a CPA. Oh well at least I passed FAR this quarter with a 76!

Was positive I failed…ended up passing with an 86! bombed the sims, didn't even get the research question. Thought if anything I might squeeze by with a 75/76. an 86 is totally unexpected

I definitely thought I would need to retake reg! The MCQs were straightforward as there was plenty of easy blaw questions and few calculations. My first sim was absolutely brutal! Really think I got 0 points on that sim or it was a pretest. Just saw that I passed with a 77 and still in disbelief! This whole week I was just bracing myself for a fail and preparing for the retake.

    Congrats to everyone who passed!
