REG RETAKE

Did anyone feel numb after their Reg retake. My first attempt I scored 71 (knew there were one or two topics I needed to go back over). I retook Reg on March 15th (awaiting score), I studied my butt off this time and ensured that I ironed out all the little kinks. Anyway, my 1st testlet wasn’t bad at all but my second testlet just felt so tricky, I think I flagged like 15 questions in the second testlet. My sims were not bad except for one sim where the instructions weren’t clear. When I walked out of the exam I felt numb. I really could not say how it went (I could not say omg I failed but I’m definitely not sure on whether I passed. I’m more upset because I feel like people study their ass off and the AICPA play so much games with people when these exams are mentally debilitating.
Just hoping for a pass and looking for some words of encouragement. Can you all share your success stories?

    Hi

Same boat as my self. I just took REG 2x and failed by 70's very stressful and every time I walk out there's something else I missed! I am retaking this Monday hopefully we got this this time around. I am almost basically reviewing the whole C and S corp and partnership distribution very day! The flagged questions you may think you got wrong may even gotten right and those that are flagged who knows maybe they are the pretest MCQs, what did your score report say, where you weaker in MCQs or SIMS. If it was SIMS you probably did strong on MCQs and missed a couple important topics.

My advice which I haven't even cleared myself yet is to at least review the content while waiting for your score seems like you got a while so don't forget the content.

I don’t think I’ve missed anything this time but I really can’t tell how I did. I wished there was a way of knowing.

I hope you get it this time though…let me know how it was when you take on Monday. Wishing you look

Whilst I’m waiting, I’m trying to learn how to relive life again. I’m keeping myself busy to keep score release off my mind.

I left REG for the last cause I wanted to get all the others out the way seeing that I had some background in them.

Hey just got out of REG the waiting begins for me, getting score in about 2 weeks. We never know how well we really do ( or bad) I may start some BEC just to get a head, and start a different subject, BEC is my last!

What's doing?, Hoping I did well, we really don't know until score release. Time was sufficient but the question is did I fill out the SIMS correctly. MCQs weren't so bad, second set felt a little harder which is a good sign. Now its all up to the wait.!

Same experience as me. Hoping we both passed and did well. I’m thinking third time is the charm for you.

I see you already cleared BEC, I want to get through it it's been so long. The sparring VIDS really helped me especially in clearing FAR yje first time around. Took a while to clear FAR and that gave me the motivation to continue. I was very close on walking away, very happy I didn't!

My apologies for such late response. I’m glad you didn’t walk away. The CPA journey is not easy but worth it in the end.

I used gleim only to study for BEC. Gleim is rough but it prepared me.

Have you used Ninja for other sections? I just started BEC today and finished first sparring vid, how long you think for a full time person studying?

I’ve never used ninja actually but I like the forum. For a person studying full time I would say give yourself 12 weeks to master the material. No sense rushing then have to retake. It also depends on the amount of hours you study. If 8 hours a day work for you then I would say 8 weeks but I feel like studying that length of time a day will burn you out.
