Drew a rogue bull at the REG Rodeo today - Page 2

Well… I always explain to people that whichever exam you get is similar to drawing a bull for rodeo entry. You never know just what kind of test you are going to draw. It could be stuff you know…it could be totally off base. Today I took REG for the second time. I put tons of time in for review and over 1500 mcq plus simulations. I felt okay going in but pretty bad coming out. Mcq was medium-medium/hard-medium/easier. Stuff I was sure would be on the exam wasn’t even there. Sims were pretty confusing. I think I got 3 out of 6…maybe. It’s gonna break my heart to do it again and risk losing credit for FAR and BEC.

I got out, hung my head, bought a new pair shoes, some lipstick, took my bike out for a putt and finally vacuumed.

    Pretty disappointing.

    Hi All.

Thanks much. It's just so hard to tell. The exams I actually passed…I felt I may have passed when I was done. This one…I just don't know. It could go either way. Should I do pass, I would feel more lucky than that “earned it” feeling.

I took the exam last Saturday, and I'm really not sure how I did either. I had a bit of difficulty with the first testlet (perhaps moreso than the rest) because I'm better at the computational problems that are often reserved for the harder testlets than I am at pure memorization. So I feel like I did comparably in all three testlets despite knowing the difficulty went up. The simulations could've gone either way. I got things that seemed fit to be tested in FAR rather than in REG, but thankfully I remembered. It could've gone either way.

When I took FAR, I told my friends that I either failed horribly or got a 90, and got a 90. This time, I say the same thing but am not leaning towards the 90..
