I’m taking Reg on Saturday. I did Becker review course and got through it but am not sure if it sank in. I’m taking the first practice test tonight and I guess we will see. Any suggestions?

Don't fail. Also don't worry too much about the practice test. It will give you areas to focus your review on, but you have a good chance of passing even if you don't do well on it. And remember you can get a lot of review in in 1-2 days.

Go over business law more than what Becker suggests. I know each test is quite different, but I think Becker down-plays this section of the exam a little too much.

Funny, my friend and I both took REG within the past week. We both were shocked by how LITTLE business law was on ours. But like they say every exam is different. The best advice is to just review everything one more time. For me, that meant flipping through my notes and the book to get one last refresher on things.

Boy, I wouldn't assume that, about business law. I just retook REG (73 1st try) the other week and was mighty surprised – mighty surprised. Just because your first REG test or someone else's didn't have any business law (or only a bit of it) does not mean at all that yours won't.

I was awfully shocked just because my first REG test didn't test it heavy (or barely at all). Just sayin!

Go over any flashcards you made. I made a ton of flashcards that drilled home the key points of REG. Otherwise just review the Becker book for any parts you feel weak in. I actually didn't do that many progress tests for REG. I did a zillion for FAR, but REG is more rules, etc.
