Actually I don't really get on much anymore… I hate what FB has become. Everytime I log in I see: “Like this picture or you'll Mom will die”, “If you don't like this you don't love God” etc etc… F*&^# that!

I am in Missouri and the license process went fairly quickly for me. I found out I passed my final exam on 8/21/12, submitted my application on 8/29/12, got married 9/22/12, and got my license 9/29/12! All the wedding planning filled the month long wait. This has been one crazy, hectic, and amazing year!!

After finding out the 12th that I passed my final exam it took me 2 weeks to find a licensed CPA at my company (a little surprising). BUT got them to approve my experience and stuck the app in the mail 11/28 to KY! Fingers crossed I get my license for Christmas. 🙂

Going to meet my old boss for him to sign off on my experience today. Only thing left is the Professional Conduct test. How is it that I am as nervous for this thing as I was for the CPA exam?!?! I had a dream last night that AICPA made me retake all my sections and I had to get an 80+ on every one the first time or I got baned from obtaining my license…not fun!

I was just as worried as you when I took the professional conduct exam for TX; however, I passed with flying colors. Just read the questions for face value and answer them literally–you'll pass.

@CPAhopefulTX…I'll be there with bells and whistles on! Based on pictures I have seen from past ceremonies, I will be wearing a suit–plus it's an important occasion and I think dressing up is in order!

Hoping for a GA license before Christmas. NASBA has apparently approved my app and sent over to GA BoA but I havent heard anything in a week and a half. I'm hoping GA is just slow. Question for NASBA states…if NASBA approves it will the state approve it or do they do there own check?
