I can't wait to be in all your shoes….I have taken all four sections and didn't pass any section….I felt horrible and want to give up already but I have a little hope….My becker materials are expiring soon and renewing the materials is almost $2000 which is well past my budget so I'm looking for other review materials that are effective and not so expensive. Can any of you help me on making a decision???

    AUD - 11/27/2011 63 worst feeling ever!
REG - 02/27/2012 58 horrible! didn't prep as well as first exam
    BEC - 03/02/2012 - 71 (my best score yet!)
    FAR - 05/18/2012 - 51

Using Becker review materials for all parts

@witchkizzle…thanks for the info. I will be attending the Dec one if my work experience got approved.

@khanhtuong29…Becker is good review courses, which I used to pass all four sections. You might want to supplement with Wiley Test Bank, it's like $85/section if you order from this website. Looking at your scores, I recommend taking one section at a time, and move on to next section until you pass the first one. I don' t know how well you prepared your test. For me, I read the book 2-3 times and never skipped anything, do ALL MCQs at least once, and focus on your weakness and understanding the concepts. It took me 2.5 month to study for each section (1 month of easy study and 1.5 month of intense study at the libaray.) It might be a little overkill, but I rather studying for two months to take the exam once than studying one month but to take the exam twice…The exams are not easy, but not overly difficult either. don't get that intimidates you…with enough preparation and dedication, everyone can do it……just my two cents.

On my NASBA account, I still have expiration dates after passing all 4 parts last February. I know someone already told me not to worry about them, but I'm still afraid that after my first credit expires on 12/31/12, my “Credit” section will changed to “Expired.” I got a Congratulatory letter and everything, but I'm still concerned that this will happen. Can someone check their NASBA account and see if their passed sections still say “Credit' after the expiration date?

    Thanks!

Mine still says credit. No need to worry. If you passed and got a letter, you are good to go.

@khanhktruong29. I passed two sections using just the wiley test bank and my old highlighted Becker books. I just constantly drilled the MCQs in Wiley. They were strikingly similar to the actual exams.

I personally think Becker is terrible when you consider how much it costs. Wiley is a much better bargain.

@CPAMan don't worry about it. I just checked and mine still shows an expatriation date that has already passed and it still shows credit.

I never thought I would be able to post in this forum. I received my final (passing) score on my last part of the exam. I am so relieved that this process is over (the licensure process is nothing compared to the exam). I don't have to endure the long hours of studying and worrying about whether or not I passed the exam!
