    For those at the TX ceremony that was NOT me that took a section 14 times that they talked about…even my husband turned to me and said “that wasn't you was it”?? We were also separated during the first half of the ceremony bc of seating but when I got to sit next to him after we received our certificates he said “the girls behind me were talking about you from A71.” Made me laugh a bit that I was “that girl that took the test over 20 times on A71”.

    Has anyone received their congratulatory letter for the April/May testing window yet? I found out I passed my last exam May 24, but have not yet received any correspondence (other than my score) from the AICPA. Do they wait until the end of the the entire quarter testing window to send out the congratulatory letters?

    haha keeptrying… I was wondering if they were talking about you!

    I couldn't believe there was a 19 year old getting their certificate.

    I walked across the stage right in front of the girl who dropped her certificate that her aunt presented to her.

    I did recognize you at the ceremony from your pic on the blog.

    Overall, I had fun. Now I just need to find a super nice frame for my certificate 🙂

    @keeytrying and redrage, congrats! I have questions for you guys and those Texans who went to the ceremony….can you guys tell me a little bit about it? how many people attending and what is it like…I am quiet a shy person, so I don't want to stand in front of lots of people for a long period of time. Or do I have to introduce myself or say something? I am doing this for my parents since I think they will enjoy it, but I don't want to torture myself that much yet……thanks in advance.

    It was pretty much like a HS Graduation. You sit towards the front of the room and they announce your name one by one and you walk across the stage, get your certificate, and shake the hands of the board members…just like a normal graduation ceremony. It's nothing too crazy if you're shy. You'll be okay.

    Redrage00…thanks for the info. I think I can handle that. I also don't like a situation where I feel I have to make conversations with stangers…but I don't think it's going to happen…I will be there for the next ceremony then! thanks again.

    Of course you have to listen to people talk on stage, and the top student gives a speech….I sat in between a guy and a girl and didn't talk to either lol….so you're not forced to talk to anyone.

    Have fun!

    Thank God I'm joining this group of A71 Alums–I got my final passing score last release and am now simply waiting for the wall certificate in the mail after having sent in all the licensing paperwork and receiving my license number.

    @CPA-Convertible

    At the Texas Ceremony on June 16th, there were probably somewhere around 1,200 or so people there. I don't know, maybe that is over/under. I feel like it might be close.
