Thanks, Yankee! Just logged in and saw your post from last week. I just got news today that all of my requirements are processed – just waiting on that license number!

I won't be able to go to a ceremony until December. By that time, it seems kind of silly, don't yall think? Texas folk? ha!

It's never silly to be recognized for your accomplishments, Veronica. I think you should go, besides it's a perfect excuse for a weekend trip! That is what my entire family is doing (and my wife's entire family). I think everyone was just looking for a reason to go out of town.

We are going to spend the weekend in San Antonio, actually. Just driving to Austin for the ceremony and then back to the Riverwalk.

I've been waiting to post on this thread for so long! Just passed AUD with a 92 and am DONE with this exam. I wanted to say a BIG THANK YOU to Jeff for creating this site!

So what's next? Do they send you something like a certificate stating that you have passed the exam? or just a final score notice from NASBA? I'll be receiving a congratulatory package including license application form from the board of accountantcy, right? Thanks!

hey, all. I have a question regarding the four-hour ethnic class. I am still waiting for TSBPA (Texas board) to send me the package, but I don't want to waste time and try to get this done as fast as possible. I wonder if I can go ahead schedue and take the Ethnic class before sending in the open-book ethnic exam. I also wonder if online is better than in-class. Thanks in advance.

It was only $50 and didn't take long at all to do at all. You can do it before you get the package of info that the board will send you.

Well, last week when I was on vacation my packet arrived that had a miniature certificate with my Alabama License number in it… just had to send in my experience verification (no problem there since I have been working for 5 years) letter this past monday and get to wait on my certificate… so happy / relieved that I am finished with this exam… My dad also fullfilled his promise and bought me an iPad for passing so that is also awesome…

just gotta think about the Ethics exam for when my wife and I move back to Texas from Bama because it isnt required in AL…. but that is a couple years away, no big deal…. Ninja notes pushed me over the edge after over 3 years without passing a single section….
