Hi All:
So after 8 months of studying, I was finally able to pass all 4 parts of the CPA exam.
Now that the hard part is over, it still seems like there are plenty of other things to take care of before the CPA title can officially belong to me.
With all that being said, I have a couple of questions that I would like to get some answers and opinions on:
1) Initially, I applied the exam for the state of Indiana; now after some turn of events I am in the process of relocating to California. How does this affect things if I am going to apply for my license in CA even though I applied and passed all my exams under the state of IN?
2) I am also looking for jobs in CA before I relocate there, my question is what exactly can I put on my resume to let perspective employers know that I have already passed the CPA exam and is currently in the process of getting my license? Like, is there a common term of phrase that describe people in the same current stage like me? I know I can't use CPA, but is there something like “CPA License Candidate” (Totally made that up BTW)? How exactly do I emphasize my marketability on my resume with the fact that I passed the exam?
I would greatly appreciate any input or experience any of you can share regarding my question.
Oh, and congrats to everyone who passed the exam and those who already got their license!
Thanks guys!
