Acct, I actually got fired from teaching LOL. ONE student out of 32 complained about me and asked for a refund on the class so they gave me the boot. Tried to tell me they may call me in the fall for a 100 level class, I told the I would never consider working for an institution that would terminate me without telling me the exact complaint the student had.

So now for the first time since 6/03 I am working one full time job, no part time job, not in school and not studying for the CPA. Weird to have “free” time and I think I like it!

@mla – I recently heard about that exact same thing happening to a friend of mine at a local technical college. Makes me nervous, since I am meeting with a rep from their school tomorrow to talk about my possibly teaching a part time night class. But oh well, even if I lost it, I would still have my normal full time job.

Did you at least enjoy teaching? Do you have any tips for me?
