In keeping with the spirit of the forum, I'm not posting unless I can help and it seems like the exam is ever changing so I don't feel up to snuff on it. Remember we were all new to this too. Let them live and learn the hard way like we did.

@ Allyson – There were moments during Olinto's seminar where I had a hard time holding a straight face. As I listened to him speak, I remembered so many of his quirky comments from the lectures and I also remembered how motivational he was for me. When the seminar ended I thanked him and told him how inspirational he is to candidates everywhere. Hopefully I'll get another chance to see him in a seminar because I've never seen someone who's able to flow that smoothly when they're rattling off gobs of material from a Powerpoint preentation. Also, I'd like to echo your sentiment about tollerating others. Anyone who goes through this process is bound to be emotional and for that reason I too typically grant them a pass.

Btw, Jeff if you're reading this you were a major inspiration too! Thanks for making this site available for us.

Hey guys, I've tried to resist the urge to post or even look at this thread until I finally passed all of my parts. I was finally able to complete this journey. Looking back, I am still not sure how I did it. Working full time, 2 young kids (4 & 6) and a wife. But my wife was very supportive and that helped so much.

Now on to the application process… hopefully, I will officially be a licensed CPA in early 2012.

@Megan – That is so great. Its really, really nice not to be studying. My little girl was born 3 weeks after your little one. She is sitting up and rolling around and teething. Its so much work but it is so much fun! I am really glad you are done with this. Now, go spend time with your family!

Finally able to post in the Alumni Forum…After waiting for 8 weeks I have finally been given a license number! I have waited so long for this day…Thank you Lord for letting me keep at it and not giving up…Good Luck to those still on the journey…and thank you to Jeff for providing this place where we can all vent and talk to others going through the same thing.:)

Thanks Mini! Aww that's sweet about your daughter. I bet she is precious. My little dude isn't quite sitting up on his own yet. He has a huge head and it weighs him down 😉 He's close though. Teething like crazy and rolling everywhere though! I am so excited to get home from work and just get to do family stuff! It is great!

Finally got my license number Wednesday, and my actual license certificate (not the wall certificate) in the mail yesterday!!! YAY!! Congrats to everyone else that has passed & I wish you a speedy application & approval process!

I can't believe I failed ethics for the 4th time!!

I am taking ethics under california and i cannot get pass this. I spent soo many hours on this (too embarrassed to # hrs) I am tired and frustrated, I have no idea what I am doing wrong! I feel like quitting :((
