    Hi All,

I have recently received confirmation from the accountancy board that I am eligible to sit for CPA exam.

I would like to know based on you guys experience following:

    – Best choice for review course selection

    – What order is best to complete exams

    – Is it possible to pass all 4 parts within 1 years with a full time job

I would appreciate any comments to help me plan my CPA exam preparation.

    Thank you.

    MI

I passed my first part in May of last year and if I pass FAR, then I'll have the CPA done in less than a year. I work full time as an auditor plus overtime as well. Passing within a year can be done, but it is really demanding on your body. I recommend working out regularly as a stress reliever if that is your plan.

I originally wanted to take REG, FAR, AUD, and then BEC but I had to push back FAR until last because I had to help audit a lottery corporation and a state CAFR. Both assignments I figured would be stressful and I figured there would be no way I would get a decent understanding of FAR due to work. Therefore, I would think critically about things outside of the CPA that will take up a lot of your energy/time and take a “harder” or “easier” part accordingly.

I'm all about the details and saving a little cash, so I went with Gleim materials. The amount of information provided by Gleim is overwhelming but there have only been a few times where I've seen a tested topic that wasn't in my materials.
