    I posted this in the DONE thread, but I didn’t want it to get lost in the shuffle without you all knowing how truly grateful I am for you.

    I can’t believe I can finally post in this thread. I am so excited and I don’t know what to type, but I know I owe all of you that have supported me along the way a great deal of gratitude. There is no way I could list out everyone, but I will try. Please forgive me if I forget you. I’ve been at this a long time and had so many positive interactions.

    To Jeff–Thanks for creating this site. I went through BEC and AUD before I realized this site existed and it was the loneliest experience. I felt like I was the only person taking this exam and no one understood what it entailed or why I had to study so much or even what this meant to me or my career. So thank you for giving us a place to make this process less isolating. Also, thank you for your study materials. The Ninja Notes, Audio, and MCQ were my saving grace for AUD, FAR, and REG. And the study forums–Although you tried to keep my locked out πŸ™‚ , the people that participated were amazing and it was wonderful to have a place to go to focus only on my current exam. The explanations, the quizzing, the support…there are no words to truly express the importance and the role it all played in my passing this enormous exam.

    To my study buddies in REG Q4 group–zubairs, wannabe, Kemy, Bucky, sullivan, CPAHopeful, 2014CPA, taxman89–you guys were great. The quizzing was awesome and really pushed me over to the passing side of 75. Thank you all so much.

    To my Q2 FAR group–NJPRU, wannabe, howmanyletters, JRosen, zubairs, teetee, Kenada, AleFLCPA, spartan, Amor, Amay–the support and encouragement and inspiring words and positive attitudes really made me believe in myself and my ability to pass this exam. Thank you!

    To everyone else that has supported me along the way (Kricket, NYCAccountant, and many many more), I hope I can return the favor in some way if I haven’t already.

    Congrats! I've been looking every now and again to see if your score posted!

    Telling my kids (3 also) was funny, too. Normally when I would study, they'd get to play Wii (heavily regulated in my house) with dad so when I said “mommy doesn't have to study anymore” my 5 year old son got a quivery lip and said “so that means no more Wii” and then walked over to the couch, bent over, and slammed his face into the cushion. So obviously, he was ecstatic right along with me.

    @yourmomsaCPA–That was my child's reaction when I passed the second one and told her I was done studying for a few weeks. She was angry that I wasn't going to have designated study days so she could sleep at Nana and Papa's house. No matter how hard we try, we're always the bad guy. πŸ™‚

    @Kemy
    –Thank you for pushing me too! “I wish you were two ppl-it would be double awesomeness”–that might seriously be the sweetest thing anyone has ever said to me. πŸ™‚

    @CPAmommy/mamabear. You are such an inspiration to me, as well as all the other mommies on this forum. I am SO thankful to have found this forum early on in my journey (well, early on in relation to my pass; I've been working at it for over 12 months so far) because it really can be such a lonely one. I think my friends have given up on me, because when presented with the opportunity of any free time right now, my kids and family will always “win.” If it wasn't for all of you, I'm not sure I would have stuck it out this long. I hope you have a wonderful time over the holidays with your family and please do keep in touch with all of us!

    @someday–That's exactly how I feel about this forum! So many awesome role models when I joined and have continued to be here. It took me 18 months from the time I started studying until my last pass. I took 6 tests and logged over 600 study hours I think. I honestly thought I was the only person crazy enough to pursue this with small children and a full time job. I am so glad that there are so many of us that can actually understand each other and what we're going through. It's a great feeling knowing we aren't alone. My friends gave up on me too. I couldn't hang out without being tired or cranky so they just stopped calling. Oh well. If that is all it took to lose them, then they probably weren't worth our friendship anyways. I am grateful to have made new friends on here. You will be done soon. I can feel it. We don't know how to give up, even though we want to. It's just not in us!

    That makes me feel so much better, @CPAMommy, now that you put it that way (that's all it took to lose them). I swear, there is something that happens when you become a mommy, and you just carry guilt around about EVERYTHING. Well, at least for me. Yes, I'm not being a “good” friend right now BUT those who are still around when I'm done will have proven that they are my true friends and the ones worth my effort too. I am officially releasing myself of the guilt I have around this! Thanks again!

    ^^Exactly! I used to feel guilty, but then it occurred to me that the only people I should be feeling guilty about not spending time with are my kids. Grown adults can put on their big boy/girl britches and either be part of the solution (helping us through our current stressful situation as a good friend) or part of the problem (adding more stress). The problems must go!!

    Congrats CPAMommyof3/Mamabear! I am so happy for you :). I've been reading your posts in the last few months. I am waiting for my last score (looks like I am stuck in the BEC bubble). I am so ready to be done with this exam and have my life back. My daughter will be very happy when I pass this exam so I can spend every weekend with her (not in the library). I am sure my husband will be super happy to have me back too :)!

    Congrats again!
