This may be a dumb question, but would you already know you got the Elijah Watt Sells before the AICPA announces? As in if you got a cummulative average greater than 95.5, would you already know you are an award winner and get your 20K bonus?

I ask because I got a 94.75 average and I am super bitter and stupidly hopeful that some kind of magic will happen and they will lower the requirement or something.

I think there's another thread about passing all four parts the first time where this post might be more appropriate.

    🙂

    AUD - 93
    BEC - 80
    REG - 86
    FAR - 83

I think someone else posted that they had something like a 95.25 average and didn't get the award. Sorry, but they have really strict requirements and I don't think the rules will be changing anytime soon. Awesome scores though. Congrats!!

You also have to take all 4 parts during one calendar year.

I think there should also be an award for a 75 average. That is the perfectly efficient score. Congrats to those with 95+ averages. Either you are extremely gifted or put in a lot of work (or most likely a combination of the 2).

Yeah when I started I thought I could do this. But then I realized it was not worth the effort. To guarantee scores like that I would need to do twice the studying I did. Also I wasn't able to finish in one calendar year anyway.
