Congratulatory Letters
If you tested through jurisdictions represented by CPA Examination Services (CPAES) – except Florida – you will receive a congratulatory letter from CPAES upon passing the entire CPA Examination. This letter will provide you with further instructions on how to obtain your license, per your Board’s qualifications. All other candidates will receive additional instruction regarding the licensure application process directly from their Board of Accountancy.

Letters mailed by CPAES will be sent to you by the following dates:

January/February testing window: April 15
April/May testing window: July 15
July/August testing window: October 15
October/November testing window: January 15

Received my letter on Saturday and I tested in the second quarter. I believe that schedule is not correct because of the exam change and delayed scores.

Louisiana canidate. Took my last test May 11 and received score Aug 22. No letter yet for me.

Do we receive the Congratulatory letter via email or through actual mail? I am an international candidate (tested under Michigan jurisdiction) and got my last score on August 17.
