I was wondering if there is any active member of CPA who holds the license for 5 years could help me verify my work experience?
Last week, I asked one of my professors at university to verify my experience. After he finished all the replied emails from my managers, he realized that his license was experied! I feel so sad. I don’t know what should I do next?
Therefore, I would like to ask if there is any active member can help me verify work experience? I really need your help!

Do you not currently work under a CPA? If not get a job working under a CPA and have them sign-off. I've never heard of getting experienced sign-off by your professor; that seems a bit strange. It's not something that needs to be done immediately after passing the exams. From my understanding once you pass all four exams they don't expire. You might need to work at least a year to get someone to vouch for your work experience.

I have not yet been licensed for 5 years so I can’t help you. What I had to do was get initial license in MT because they allow an actively licensed (no 5 year requirement) non supervisor to attest to experience. Once licensed by MT I applied to CO through substantial equivalency and got a license in the state where I actually live and work. Could not get the initial license from CO because I lacked specific courses required for their initial license. However, once licensed by another state that requirement was no longer needed for a CO license. Each state is different so review your rules and ask if this will work. You do have to pay for two licenses and applications but you may get licensed sooner. See if similar effort will work for you with Washington. NASBA does Montana initial license application and were easy to work with for most part. They also did the CO license app and it was a breeze. I don’t think they do Washington’s.
