Test available in March?

I just checked prometric and saw dates available for testing on first week of March.

Is this possible on a non-testing month? Have anyone ever seen a case like this??

If so, which window will it be included in? Jan-Feb or April-May? Will the score be released with the Jan-Feb window or April-May window? Will the test sets change to the new window or will it stay the same as Jan-Feb window?

Sorry for the rush of questions. I am curious to know if I can actually schedule those dates or if it’s just a technical error.

    Thanks in advance!

I'm 99.9% sure that this is an error. March, June, Sept, and Dec are all “dark” months. Check out Jeff's “50 questionsbook for more on the topic!

I've contacted NASBA to find out what's going on..I'll let you know…they're out until Tuesday.

I spoke with my NASBA friend…

It's only been extended to cater to candidates impacted by storms. If prometric will allow you to schedule your exam, it's valid.

Thank you to whoever posted this,

I feel like I'm not prepared to take Audit in 10 days, so I backed it up to March 8th. Life saver

Really?? but i'm in california and i can see dates available. and we're not impacted by storm..

i talked to people at prometric and they said it must be a system error since there's no tests in march.

and told me not to schedule even if i see dates available. i'm confused…

I'm sure it's an equality thing. They backed it up for people in the North East, and they then have to make it available for everyone……or something like that

We have dates available in FL too, no snow here….I wonder what this means for scores? I delayed my exam to Feb. 27th because I have a harder time waiting for the score than preparing for the exam. Does this mean scores won't come out until late March?

I spoke directly with a director at NASBA…any exams scheduled will be valid. They had to open it nationwide.

This very common, i remember back in 2007,my friend wrote an exam in early Septmeber , they had extended by an extra 7days, so for those that are intending to schedule i will take this opportunity.

Thanks, Jeff. I just reschedule mine, too.

Do you know what this means to score release?

Will it be released with Jan-Feb window wave2 or Apr-May wave1?

    I hope I don't have to wait til May…

It will still be a part of Jan/Feb Wave 2, but I don't know what it does to Wave 2 exactly…I will find out more next week.

Hi, I was told that the dates available in March are for Prometric to reschedule for candidates affected by the bad weather only. And that if I reschedule my exam to March, I would have to bring a proof to show why I am eligible to take the exam in March.

    Please advice?

    Thanks!!!
