Does anyone know how many times you have to pass the ethics exam? Can you only take it once, and have to get a 90 percent or better?

shed5197-First what state are you from? Not all states require an ethics exam and the ones that do does not all use the same exam. Need to check your state requirements for the specifics. I am from Indiana which does not require an ethics exam and it took only 11 days from the day I mailed my application to get my license issued. However, Indiana is cheap, all we get is an email with your certificate number nothing else. Everything else cost. Indiana issue no certificate, nothing.

My personal experience for the Colorado State Board is you can download from the website and mail in your application together with all the experience form.It takes approximately 6-8 weeks to get your license.Hope it helps , but it depends upon the State.

What did you guys do with all your cpa materials. i have 4 becker books, 3 wiley books, wiley focus notes, countless handouts, personal study notes, flashcards.

Polarbear- You have 3 tries online If you don't get a 90 after 3 tries you can fill out the answer sheet and mail that in. I would think it would be almost impossible not to get a 90 after 3 tries…

I know it has been a while since this thread was posted on, but I'm looking for an answer that I can't find.

I'm in AL, and I have passed all parts of the CPA exam. I can't apply for my license yet because I don't have the experience, but I was under the impression that I would still receive some kind of certificate that I had passed all the exams…. does anyone know anything about this?? I keep finding the answer “apply for your license” which doesn't help someone who is having trouble finding a job.
