I took REG in January and got a 68. Took BEC on 3/7 and am hoping for the best. Still have to take FAR. Audit expires on July 31.

So – I’m basically at a loss for what my next step should be. I work at one of the Big Four and am still in busy season with yet another client about to start. This won’t fully wrap up until May so I’ll be busy until then. I also commute a lot every day so there’s little time to study during the week. With [hopefully only] 2 exams to go and 3 testing months before Audit expires, I’m wondering if I should rush to take REG again in April and FAR in May so that I have another shot at both in July, or if I should take my time and do one in May and one in July. Also, does anyone have any experience with Becker Final review? I was thinking about purchasing it for REG since I was kind of close and may not have much time to study again.

I just took REG and used the Becker Final Review. It's a broad overview of the topics so I feel like you need to have the basics down then do the review and the questions. There are a few pages for each topic and he does a few MCQs with you, then you have the MCQs to do on your own. It was helpful for me as a refresher on all the topics and can help point out your weak areas. Did you use Becker as your main study materials for REG?

When you are commuting, are you able to study? I mean if you are riding along (bus, car) then you could be doing flashcards. Or are you driving? Not sure if I'd want to listen to lectures while driving…..

I would probably try to take both exams in the next window, but you don't want to overextend yourself either. Do you think you can put together a realistic study plan and stick to it?
