Anyone that finished the exam in Q1 received their congratulatory letter yet or heard from State Board that the scores have been received?

Not the letter but need the State to receive the scores. Assume they happen at the same time or within a couple days.

If you took exams as Michigan candidate they should have your scores. Have you started your application yet? I don’t think you need to wait.

States do not receive scores from NASBA but 4 times a year, and it says “around the 3rd week of Jan Apr Jul Oct.” Hence why I am wondering if anyone else who passed in Q1 has heard from their State/license been processed. It is the last part of my application outstanding.

Hi guys,

I’m also awaiting NASBA to send my scores to the state of Michigan. I’ve already applied to Michigan and they’ve accepted everything, the only thing left I need is NASBA to send my scores to Michigan. They’re supposed to send them 3rd week of April, I’ve emailed them multiple times last I heard from them (couple days ago) was that they were on a 2 week delay. Not exactly ideal but they are dealing with COVID and everything like that. I wish I had more of an update, please let me know if you find out anything else.

Q1 was a bit of a whirlwind…

REG (Jan 2020) – 89
AUD (Jan 2020) – 84
FAR – (Feb 2020) 74!!! I laughed so hard when I checked
BEC (Mar 2020) – 86

Missed going 4/4 in one quarter by one point!!!

I'm registered through Washington state and took my first two tests in Seattle, but I moved to Michigan in late January and took FAR/BEC here. Eventually I need to figure out how to move everything over…

@Ally Wow! That is impressive! You don’t have to report scores till you are ready to apply for a license. You can retake FAR as a Washington candidate then have them reported all at once as part of your application. Check Michigan board site for license requirements – see what they say about applying with out of state scores.

@Icarito I would be disappointed if my scores had not been sent. Can you follow up with NASBA to find out more?

@Ally 3 in 1Q is super impressive. No doubt you'll get it next time

@Monkiernc going to give it 1 more week then follow up. Apparently they release them in batches according to my state representative compiling my required documents. It's been almost 2 months since window closed though…want those letters so I can submit my expenses for study materials and exam fees (I don't work in public).

Thanks – just sent an email to Licensing. They can keep my congratulatory letter – I just want them to send my scores to the State!

lcarito, I'm in the same boat as you, application has been 99% complete since April 1st. I have emailed NASBA at least once a week since the first of April and they hardly ever respond. I have been told two different release deadlines that NASBA hoped to have everything sent and neither has been met. The most recent being last Friday. I cant understand how with today's technology it is this hard to send scores to state boards. It is so frustrating.
