Has anyone received their Louisiana CPA license recently and if so how long did it take? My application was received by the Board in June but nothing yet. I am so ready to be able to hang my license on the wall.

Did you ever get your license? I sent my stuff in 3 or 4 weeks ago and I think with continuous testing it might be changing. I have been calling and asking questions about timing, etc., and it seems like they have all my stuff. They said something about waiting on testing info (passing grades) and transcripts from Testing Services, which they will be receiving this week. I am hoping my license pops up soon, I am unsure how the actual board approval in late October affects this.

Still do not have it. They received my info from Testing Services on 7/23. I emailed them last week and was told that there was no change to my application status. In a prior email, I was told it would take 30 to 60 days which is proving to be wrong. I am not sure how the board approval works either. Hopefully, both of us will be licensed soon.

Congratulation!!! I did get mine. Still haven't received the actual license. Ready to hang it up on the wall. It is so weird to be done. I never realized how much studying for the exam had my life in limbo.

How long did it take to get your licenses? I submitted mine at the end of January. Also, how did you check to see if you got approved?

From the day I found out I passed my exam to the day my license showed up on the site was 2 months. I would anticipate the end of March for yours but they are pretty slow going. I would definitely call the state board and talk to Caren, she is really helpful. The LA State Board of Accountancy is one of those organizations that needs a little prodding sometimes to keep things moving. I tried to be Johnny on the spot checking that they had everything they need to issue my license. You can go on the License Lookup function on the LA State Board of Accountancy website and periodically search your name to see if they have issued your license. Here is the LINK
